It was my first time to participate in a medical mission and to go to General Santos city. During the orientation, we were worried that the medications might not be enough knowing that we only had a certain budget to meet. The first day proved to be very challenging for me because my migraine triggered so badly that I wanted to stop and take a rest. The enemy was giving me thoughts to give up and complain but the Holy Spirit gave me this verse from Romans 8:31 "If God is for us, who can be against us?” and 2 Corinthians 9:8 "God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” I declared that to myself and believed that “Jesus Christ’s stripes would heal me.”
Indeed, God gave me supernatural strength during the entire mission trip. Not only that, God did a miracle by multiplying the medicines (and most of it were given free!) and helped us do things extraordinarily. God’s presence was all over the place as we all witnessed the outpouring of His goodness, love, joy and grace. I was so blessed with all the volunteers from Victory-GenSan for their passion, warmth and expertise in mission work and the relationship that was built through it.
It is really only through Him and His grace that we can do all things.
God is unlimited and truly amazing!
